The mission:

Heron’s Nest Coffee began in a small shed at the Blooming British Garden Center, where we served our very first customers and grew a small but incredibly faithful following. Those early days were simple, slow, and special—and they built the foundation for everything we do now. Today, we’ve grown into a mobile espresso bar serving Tidewater, Virginia, bringing that same heart and hospitality wherever we go.
Coffee has been a dream of mine since I was young. I always loved the idea of owning my own coffee business, but I honestly never believed it was something I’d be able to do. The only reason it became possible is because God kept opening doors I didn’t expect and giving me direction in ways only He could.

Great Blue Herons play a big part in that story. They’ve always held deep spiritual meaning for me, and I truly feel that God has used them—time and time again—to give me peace, encouragement, and little reminders that I’m exactly where I need to be. That’s why this business carries their name. It’s personal. It’s purposeful. And it’s a reminder of who really made this dream come to life.

I also wouldn’t be here without my family. Their support, hard work, and belief in this vision kept me going long before I believed in myself. This business is just as much theirs as it is mine.

Our mission is simple: serve excellent, handcrafted coffee with genuine hospitality, create a welcoming space wherever we set up, and stay grounded in the faith, family, and community that helped us grow from a little shed into the mobile coffee company we are today.
